Thank You Senders

Every time I go to my kitchen and open my cabinet I see a mug which the ladies from a particular church sent me for my birthday a couple  years ago.  Every time I see that mug, I smile.  Not because I love the mug so much, although it is very nice, but I smile because I think about ladies who are thinking about me and praying for me even though I am thousands of miles away.

Since we have been back on furlough and visiting churches, we have had countless numbers of people to come by and tell us how they are praying for us EVERY DAY!  People have called that we haven’t met who found our prayer card and expressed that they have been burdened to pray for us very often.  This does something to my heart that I can’t quite explain;  it brings tears to my eyes, and I feel the love of Christ expressed to me in a sweet way.

So, I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you that take the time to encourage others to keep serving the Lord.  The phone calls, e-mails, cards, gifts and especially the prayers really make a difference!  I pray to be an encouragement to others as well.

With Love,

Beth G.

    1. Thank you for this reminder! it is amazing to see how missions work is really a team effort! I know those of us on the field couldn’t do it without people behind us. May we never take for granted their love and sacrifice and all many things they do to help, bless and encourage us.
